AJAR-tec is a market leader in the art of providing multi-disciplinary digital and IP solutions designed to an exact specification to meet our clients' needs. Formed in 2005, AJAR-tec's management team combine over 40 years of experience in the AV Industry, specialising in IPTV, IPCCTV and immersive technologies. Peter Dicks is chairman and combines this role with his work as chairman of various city companies. The company has its offices in Knightsbridge, London, whilst we moved into our new operational hub, The Orchard, in July 2011. The Orchard is our new home in West London sitting next to SKY TV's UK HQ and GLaxoSmithKline's London HQ, just off the Great West Road in West London - equidistant to both Central London and Heathrow Airport. AJAR-tec is very proud of its past projects including extensive AV work in the new Stephen Lawrence Centre in London (which was an AV Awards finalist), Heathrow Terminal 5 British Airways accommodation and designing and building British Airways' Operations Control Incident Centre (OCIC); the Emergency Procedures Information Centre (EPIC), and Disruption and Briefing rooms, newly relocated at their Headquarters at Waterside (Which was an EMEA inAVation Award winner 2008 and AV Awards 2009 finalist).
We have delivered projects to the National Policing Improvement Agency (NPIA) across its nationwide Police training centres including, most excitingly, our work at Harperley Hall in County Durham which involved the design, supply, installation and commissioning of a new state-of-the-art AV and CCTV system for the new home of the Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) Forensic Training Facilities for the police service. This facility consists of a practical training block, 80 bedrooms, syndicate rooms, classrooms and laboratories, fully equipped gym, relaxing refectory area and bar. It is to incorporate a new Hydra and Minerva Learning environment - an immersive command and control training system. AJAR-tec's work at Harperley Hall was a finalist at the 2008 AV Awards.
As well as the design and implementation of IPTV networks, AJAR-tec is experienced in the field of security and IPCCTV. Perhaps one of the most cost-effective and unique products in the AJAR-tec service range is Video Analytics. This outstanding software allows the detection and subsequent analysis of IPCCTV video for specific data, behaviour, objects, activity, or attitude.
